I just built my computer in January and within the last couple of weeks I havent been able to run any games. Before the games ran perfectly but I went a couple weeks without playing any big games and now when I try nothing works. The games start up, I get the intro trailers and that kind of thing and then the screen either freezes or goes black, the music can still be heard in the background but after a second or two the steam games crash and give me an error message. I thought it was just the steam games I was having issues with but WoW also crashed right after it opens up. Sometimes I get the blue screen of death, sometimes I dont.
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB Video Card
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
I updated the AMD and Intel drivers and Im still having issues. It also doesnt seem like my computer is overheating because its only running between 33°C - 45°C.
Any ideas what I could do to fix this?
