All Games freezing System

Well...Hi ya all!
I have SB LIVE Platinum 5.1 with Livedrive on an Athlon 1000 with 384MB Ram and MSI-K7T Mainboard on Win XP.
Whatever Game i play...after about 20-30 Minutes a hard Sinustone appears...then the System freezes and i have to reboot.
I disabled the OnBoard-Sound...more i dont know about those stuff.
There are NO conflicts with interrupts....PLEASE help somebody!

get a new case, get better cooling, build a new system and clean install XP.

What happens if you remove the SB Live and use the onboard sound?

try swapping ram modules especially if u got bargain ram. this happens to be the problem whenever i trouble shoot odd lock ups.
