For some reason, all of my games have frame rates locked at 134 frames per seconds, even though all of them have uncapped frame rates.

Heyo oOMeowOo

If you have an Nvidia card, there's the possiblity that you've chosen to let the GPU cap out at the monitor max refresh rate, in your case 134Hz (A bit odd, but could be why).

Anyhow, good luck solving the problem!

considering anything over 60hz is unseen by the eye :) that is pretty good, what's your monitor refresh ?

Note Yes I am teasing, according to research
Although the human eye and brain can interpret up to 1000 frames per second, someone sitting in a chair and actively guessing at how high a framerate is can, on average, interpret up to about 150 frames per second.

Have you found a fix for this? I have the same exact problem. I have a 144hz GSync monitor and nothing will go above 134 fps - Tested games that were 10 years old all the way up to the newest games. I feel like it is driver related. I have already tried the driver though... Maybe I will try rolling it back to an older one.

Err.... your quote straight up says it's actually more like 150hz is what people can see.

I had this same issue, but I think i've got it fixed now. Went in to nvidia inspector and changed the framerate limiter to off. It was set to 143.3 or something like that but I was getting 134 fps in game for some reason.

Hey. I just had the same problem. I have a nvidia gtx 1080 EVGA FTW.
And i just solved this problem.
In EVGA Precision i found something called Framerate Target. It was set to 144 but i still only had 134.
When i disabled it, everything works fine now and i can get higher than 144 now.
Hope this helps :)
