Question All games stutter or crash after installing a game.

So i installed pes 2017 last night and now all my games and even the whole pc is slow and the games stutter / Crash.

Disk is fragmented 0% and has 857gb free space.

Game that crashed and played way worse than before pes is Gothic 3 which ran fine and never crashed now ran badly and crashed. No other software besides a ps3 driver had been installed. Windows 10 has all the latest updates and i don't have viruses/malware as i scanned the pc with malwarebytes and avast. Also all the usages Disk , cpu and ram remained the same. Any ideas?

Please don't defragment your drive, it only causes it to degrade faster. I'm concerned about the make and model of your PSU as well as it's age, looking at (half) the specs of your system.

Its no surprise that all your games are stuttering with these specs. Your PC is barely hanging on by a thread. You're lucky you can play any recently released game at all. You need a major upgrade from top to bottom.

No no error logs been left. Also just played some Far Cry 1 the fps is way lower than before feels like 2x less fps, as in some areas feels slowmotion.

The games i play are not intensive and most require 1 core and 2 for max settings. Only pes requires higher spec but why are the rest stuttering and crashing after installing a new game?
EDIT: Also the only game that runs fine is pes. Runs at around 60 fps at high 1080p.

recheck gpu driver and you might have to play on lower settings in the game also with psu aging could be not giving all power you need .

So psu is causing way lower fps and crashing after installing a game? I think it might be something with the harddrive as before installing pes everything ran perfectly. Also gpu drivers are the latest.

Pes 2017 -Runs perfectly about 60fps in gameplay 30 in cutscenes
Far Cry 1 -Runs way slower with lower fps and stutters after installing pes. Around 50% lower fps 120 > 60
Gothic 3 -Runs way slower slightly lower fps, stutters, light freezes and crashes after installing pes. about 25-30% lower fps 50-40 > 30-25
Gothic 2 -Way lower fps after installing pes. From 60 to 35
Left 4 dead 2-About 20 less fps

As you probably noticed most of these games are old, and don't require a high spec.

I think it's a hdd issue as everything was fine before installing pes, but first i'll upgrade the gpu. And then most likely will go for a ssd.

You got the wrong benchmark. I don`t have a gt 330m but a msi gt330 which is better than the miniumum.
