I must of done this a dozen times and get the same results. Iv read the simple installation of Win 10 with Media Creation tool and all i get after is the Cortana voice giving tips...no actual system. I made sure to use for the first time a new SSD drive , which I made sure it was unallocated as instructed. it copies files 100%, finish's and reboots, and that is how it ends. I tried both ways not knowing if i should remove the M C tool, or leave it plugged in, each way i get the same results...just Cortana's voice. Just what is suppose to show me after the reboot?

what are specs of the PC? No OS on this desktop, but had win 10 previously

So nothing showing on screen? No, just Cortana's voice.

this is whats meant to happen: https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq/how-to-do-a-clean-installation-of-windows-10.3170366/ I read all of that and complied.

leave the USB in, its needed. I did it both ways and still only get Cotana's voice.

Did you change the boot order in bios to boot off USB? As that can cause this to happen. Yes, and i see it being lit up as it progress's.
YES, TO ALLOF

Answer really doesn't tell me specs :)

a lot of new boards have a setting called Boot Override. If you tell me motherbaord model, I can have a look in manual and see if yours is same. Normally on either boot tab or save/exit tab in bios

YES, to allof the above quotes, except system info.....no OS on the desktop that i am trying to reinstall win 10, which i had before an updated win 10 crash.
YES, TO ALLOF
Answer really doesn't tell me specs :) I can only tell u that i have 8 gb's ram and my board is not new, but irregardless, i had win 10 working just fine with this 6 year old board until the october update screwed it up.

Normally on either boot tab or save/exit tab in bios ....>>>> Like i said my MB is 6 years old. I have 2 SSD drives Someone told me that i should disable security boot which is enabled and greyed out, so i can't disable it....but i never had concern about security boot before when i was using win 10 before crash.
