All-in-one's versatility versus separates???

In an *All-in-one*, can one print cards, invitations, envelopes etc.
like many solo printers? And about the *fax*, we have cable
internet;phone line in same room to the phone (and its answering
machine) not to computer. In the *fax* part of the all-in-one, how are
the three connected, if they even are? phone lines to all of the
above? Thanks! Will decide on either a Cannon or HP soon.

I am not sure if there are any but Epson RX500 / RX600 that
will do photo quality color out of the box. HP can with an extra
color cartridge. But Epson's 6 individual inks helps.
