All-In-Wonder Radeon 8500DV

Anyone know when this card is suppose to come out? Or where I can buy it? ATI's website isn't very helpful. All they say is "Fall 2001" and not a specific date.

It's supposed to come out before DEC 25.
I'll be waiting in line for it. Damn I definitely need it as my current card is about 4 years old. heheheh.

I know that you can preorder it online at www.enpc.com, but when will it ship? ahh why is ATI taking it's time with this one! everyone wants it!

Word of advice, wait about a month or two before you buy this card if you are running windows 2000 or XP this way, all your stuff will be supported. As far as the delay, the Radeon 8500 received such bad press due to drivers that ATI is probably trying to get all the errors out of this one before they release it to help their poor driver rep. The features do look great but the AIW Radeon does everything that I need so I do not plan on upgrading at least for another year.

If it works for you then don't fix it.

If you'll look at the advertizement at the top of this page, it'll probably be for the all-in-wonder Radeon 8500DV. At least for the next couple of weeks. It's shipping now. I've even seen one for sale on e-bay.
