All internet disconnects when playing Borderlands 2

When i am playing borderlands 2 on multiplayer with a friend, every now and then, probably once an hour. I will disconnect from the game and our Skype call would drop. I have tried using my phone for Skype instead but still the problem persists. I can play other games and use skype on my computer perfectly fine, that's why i don't understand why it does it specifically for borderlands 2.
