[SOLVED] All my games suddenly stuttering and lagging.

I play on a laptop with a GTX 1650. All my games started lagging one day for no apparent. There were no recent Windows update But I did update my Nvidia drivers three days prior to the beginning of the lag. But the days leading up to the lags were fine and all my games ran without any issues. My CPU and GPU temps are same as before. This has happened before and I had to reinstall windows to solve the problem. But now I'm unwilling to do so because I have a lot of important files now. What must I do?

Userbench checks out and no signs of cpu throttling. Far as that is concerned your system is running normal.

Monitor with Msi Afterburner next time a game starts to lag. Monitor cpu, memory, hdd usage and temps under load.

If a running process is causing your stutters (if it's not malware), could be an app or utility running in the background. Deselect everything in startup items in TM and see if that helps isolate the problem then go from there.
Ran a Malwarebytes scan?

Can you run Userbench please and post link to results.

If in case malware isn't found, try run task manger while playing a game. Sometimes they hide when TM is opened freeing up cpu/memory resources.

Id recommend getting portable storage and backup your important data. Should be done anyway.

Here you go: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/37339259

I did a malwarebytes scan before I ran the userbench test.
