Ok so saturday afternoon i press the power button on my computer and it doesnt turn on. I press it a few more times and nothing. So i switch off the psu from the back, unplug everything and check inside, everything looks normL so i replug everything and when i switch it on everything works. Then i play some intense gamming for 10 hours.

I switch computer off. Then i press power button once then a few times and it wont switch on. So i turn the psu off from the back, wait 8 mins, turn psu switch back on, press power button and pc turns on, while comp is on i press power button again to test that the power button works whilst pc is on, that it works while electricity is running thru the machine and voila! it indeed turns pc off.

From that i summarise that it is an electrical problem that isnt due to the case's power button being faulty. As i repeated the procedure in paragraph 2, three times.

So i find that, the power button works when i have the psu switched off from the back for a decent period of time 10mins+ then switched back on again

So i press the power button under the circumstance of knowing that the pc will NOT boot to see if maybe the fans still spin - they don't spin. nothing turns on when the power button has isnt going to work and vice versa. So it is indeed electricity related.

Thus, for the past few days, when its night i switch the pc off then switch psu off from the back and go to sleep, then in the morning i switch psu on, and press the power button, turning on pc and then playing graphically intense games all day up to 10 hours and only switching off pc when i go to bed. This is just avoiding the problem and not fixing it.

I'm thinking it may be the psu but, it has no problem handling intense use for long periods of time with no hiccups, its just getting the pc needs this procedure. Also note that the power supply makes a constant very very faint buzzing noise although idk if its just my imaGination due its quietness. Keep in mind this is with my ear directly to the psu.

Please help me, i didnt build my pc but i chose all the parts, the psu is a seasonic g series 750w.

From what you have described I'd suggest it is most likely your power supply.

Are you comfortable pulling your PC apart? If so, and if you have a spare PSU or can get your hands on one you only need to plug in the 8pin and 24pin connectors to your motherboard (without removing your existing PSU from the case), and turn the power on. If it works your PSU is faulty.

That is - unplug the 8pin and 24pin connectors from your motherboard on your existing PSU.
Connect the 8pin and 24 pin connectors from a spare PSU to your motherboard.
Plug in the power cable from your existing PSU to your spare PSU.
Make sure the PSU is grounded.
Turn the power on.

If you don't have a spare PSU, and can't get access to one, and can't get access to a PSU tester - to be sure your PSU is faulty you'd have to take it to a PC store for them to test.

As I said though, the symptoms you describe are typical for PSU faults.

The buzzing might be a symptom of the brand/model of the PSU. As much as I hate to say it, in my personal experience Seasonic are not a great brand. But that's just my opinion, there are people who think they are the best thing since sliced bread.

The symptoms are not suggestive of a motherboard fault, and I doubt playing with it in any way will make any difference.

I have one of those motherboards myself. Whilst it is a low-budget board, it's still a reasonably dependable board.
Given it's 8 months old, pretty much everything should be under warranty.
If you didn't built it yourself, I'd take it back to where you got it and get them to diagnose the problem.
I'd also let them know you're not impressed with their build. Even Seasonic PSU's should last longer than 8 months.
