Press any key to continue

When I press any key nothing happens. It is not recognizing the keyboard. I have switched ports and it still doesn't recognize the keyboard. What can I do??

Please help

Solution
pull power from power supply, open case, pull the pill sized battery on motherboard, let it sit 2-3 mins, slip battery back on close case and power it up, go to bios and see everything is ok, (leave OC off) then reboot and see if system starts, remember some bios have their HDD setting to IDe as default not AHCI. you might have to change that before it will boot on windows

Thank you for answering my question so quickly. I took the steps you suggested and the keyboard is working, YEAH! But now I cannot get into windows. I get a message to run the Windows Start Up fix and I have done this many times. It cannot automatically fix the problems.

Do you have any idea what I need to do?
