hey so ive been using my pc for mostly gaming for a while now and all of the sudden last week i noticed that all my games are starting to have this bad texture pop ups and im pretty sure that didnt happen before so this is ruining my gaming experience and there is also another thing which is the mdm.exe which takes about 25% of my cpu n my whole pc lags after i close the mdm.exe from my task manager it goes back to normal so i was wondering if some of u guys would shed some light into this matter and give some fixes for it itll be appreciated thanks. my specs are core 2 quad 2.83ghz, 8gb ram, geforce galaxy 740 2gb and 1TB HDD

http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/mdm.exe.html Turn off MDM.exe at startup, seems to be an unnecessary program for debugging Office. I'd also recommend running a virus and malware scan. My favorite anti-virus/malware is AVG Free & Malwarebytes, if you don't already have any.

For the texture popping, I would suggest trying to clean your GPU. Like take it out and blow as much dust out as possible. Sometimes textures "pop" when it's overheating.

i dont know how to permanently turn mdm off after i start up my pc about 20 mins later my pc starts lagging mostly the games and the videos on the internet and when i open task manager it shows that mdm.exe is taking 25% of my cpu after i close it everything goes back to normal so is there any other way through which i can permanently remove this frm my pc And about the GPU cleaning i did that n my graphic card is clean but still the problem persists i dont know why it happened all of the sudden at first everything was going great but just last week i noticed this by the way im using windows 7 so im thinking maybe upgrading to windows 8 or 8.1 will remove this problem share your thoughts on that thanks!

well i downloaded HW monitor and while running the game it game the temperature of 45 degree celcius i dont know if thats good or bad when not running the game it gave the temperature of 40 degree celcius more or less And about that mdm.exe i saw the link you gave me and the boxes i had to check were already checked i mean the internet explorer had already checked it as disabled

It said 45C under "MAX"? If so, you're not overheating.

If you really can't disable it, then I suggest trying a different browser. I know it's not optimal, but it's an easy work around. I'd suggest Firefox or Chrome.

i have chrome as my default and it said 55 as max

55C is fine. Have you tried opening task manager, right-clicking on MDM.exe, and going to the file location to see where it is? If it's not in a Windows folder then it's most likely malicious.

I recommend doing a virus & malware scan. It just sounds too much like a virus to me.

i did run a full virus scan using AVG but still the problem is there......do you think this mdm.exe has any connection to my texture pop up problem? Like are the connected or something.

yes it does take up space even when im doing nothing i just leave the pc for 20 mins n it starts to lag and i did run AVG free not the malware will do it now and i deleted my whole L A Noire game from my pc along wid the cache file and now it does not happen but the texture pop up is still there which is my main problem.
