I would be surprised if we see another nvidia card out of the major manufacturers with anything other than the 12VHPWR connector.

I do wish video card makers would take into account the normal orientation and how wide cards are though. Changing up positioning of the connector would go a long way with regards to cable management and not forcing hard bends.

Failure is the result of a lack of commitment! Besides, you can't complain if there is no other choice.

Why would any new line of GPUs use the failed disastrous 12VHPWR connector vs the latest 12V 2x6 version? I thought that was the new standard. Even the 4080 card I just bought had the updated connector.
