All PC games crash/close without warning

It seems that everything I try to run gamewise on my pc only stays for like 15 minutes and then either quietly closes to desktop without error or crash report, or just crashes flat out. I cant understand why because I have an Nvidia GTX 960 2gb running with an intel i3 4170 and when im ingame it seems to be running very smoothly in games like Verdun or Insurgency but like I said will randomly close to desktop. Its even happened on games like BF2 and AVP 2000. What do?

If there are no errors presented on the "desktop" per se via some window then look in your PC's Event Viewer logs.

Could be a power supply overheating problem or some internal component overheating.

The Event Viewer logs will show any warnings or errors. Look for any warnings or errors just before or at the time of the crash.

CPU is probably overloaded.
List ALL the hardware in the system, all the software, and ALL the details.
