IMHO KALI and EYE are both far superior to the ingame browser or anything
Game Spy(ware) offers. The EYE moderator is talking out his ass, as he
wants to
keep his customer base renewing every year. UT2K4 Master Servers pass the
game information on to the game browsers in the same format as the rest of
the
Unreal series. EYE doesn't have the full filtering capabilities built in
yet. EYE was
created to fill a gap and capitalize when Jay Cotton, the creator/programmer
of
KALI lost the business in a corporate shake up and KALI was not updated for
aover two years +. Jay has since purchased KALI and is actively updating and
refining it.
EYE allows to you include or exclude specific mutator variable flags but not
all
of them, so in order to exclude some mutators your also end up excluding a
lot of games with various anti cheat MUTS installed as well.
KALI allows you to setup filters to either show or not show any games with
any set/combination of variable values that are being advertised to the
master
servers. Kali refreshes at least twice as fast as EYE and has several
refresh modes.
Kali also has a relatively simple setup and display interface. Simply a
faster, better
product.
