All system activity pending

I couldnt figure out what causing the problem as the problem is happening for more than 3 months, basically at a random time, whether i just browsing file on file explorer or surfing the internet, all the activity including rendering website, streaming video. opening file, closing folder, or even rendering some page on steam client would pending, the loading circle appears looping , it didnt freeze, i can click on anywhere, or refresh the page but my pc would just refuse to process the command and wait until it normal again, basically after 11 seconds of no activity it will normal again. this is starting to annoy me because i can have this problem thrice in a day, usually just once. and i dont want to reinstall my system anyone have any idea what causing this? Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. i uninstalled all of my unused software but it didnt help much

Sounds like a dying Harddrive.

I'd check the SMART status on your HD.

strangely enough it never happens while im gaming, only when im opening google chrome, firefox or opera browser.
anyway i checked smart on my hdd it reported my hdd is on good status, http://prntscr.com/8qado4

Did you run a full scan?

If you are using an antivirus application, it could be hanging scanning the files as they load.
