Never recall having this problem until i got my new mobo(http://www.gigabyte.us/Motherboard/GA-X99-Ultra-Gaming-rev-10#ov).
New mobo has mostly USB 3.0 (One 2.0)
What happens
-All USB connections disconnect/connect
-(mouse, keyboard, headphones...)
This issue happens while
-In games(any)
-Using premiere pro
-Have not had this happen browsing internet
Cause (as far as i can tell)
-Xbox one controller adapter (from Microsoft)
-(360 dongle works fine)
Things i have tried
-reset my bios to the factory settings..(only thing i have changed was PCI Express to Gen2 b/c i have an older GPU that was having problems when connected to my receiver/tv with sound.)
-Disabled 'USB selective suspend setting in power options.
-Deselected 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power within HID in Device Manager
As soon as i unplug this i have no issues, although i have noticed it while using my external harddrive while in lightroom too.
Any ideas, throw em out here in the comments. I have done some research online and have tried many things. cant figure it out. I will update this if i try anything new + results.
Thanks Everyone.
I have heard about the bluetooth/wireless interference with USB 3.0... i think thats whats going on here. Does anyone know how to fix this b/c i can not even play games with my xbone controller with out this happening and i have to unplug the dongle when not in use.
