Question Allocating an unallocated disk with the suitable settings on a windows reinstall?

I have reinstalled windows completely fresh from a USB today but at some point I messed up and unallocated my secondary, 2tb, hard drive, how should I reallocate it for use and what settings would be suitable?

leave it Basic Disc and just create a partition for it and format it NTFS, just use the defaults. right click on the drive in that view and choose New Simple Volume. Choose defaults from there

just make it one huge drive if you want, for data storage
