Hey everyone,
This pc system will be used for ( Video editing, Rendering, some gaming)
So, this will be my first time to build a pc. I need advice on this build. I'm planning to overclock the 5820k to get more performance. I don't know if I have chosen the right cpu cooler and motherboard. Does the case have good airflow?
Should I go for a better graphics card, to have more cuda cores and more V ram? Like gtx 970 / r9 390?

You have made a load of great choices.

The CPU cooler is a good mid-range budget choice.
That's a very cost-effective motherboard.
You might save a little on memory, I'll need to check.
If you get an m.2 SSD it will take less space and some of them are significantly faster than SATA, although twice as expensive. A500GB SSD will hold more working files and may speed up your work a lot.

The better GPU works only if you can use CUDA. If so and rendering/editing is a money-maker, a GTX970 would very likely be worth it, and it too can be overclocked to near stock 980 performance, well over twice as fast as the stock 950.

Thanks for the reply,

I think with 32gb you have the maximum power with AE, which is quite good.
Didn't know that you could overclock a gpu. I've heard that broadwell-e will be out in like 1-4 months, should I wait for it?

I didn't mean less memory, merely less expensive memory.

You can overclock that particular GPU (stock GTX 970) close to 15%

Broadwell-E will be a bit more efficient, but the cheapest chip (i7 6800K) seems similar to the i7 5820K. The next one, (the i7 6850) looks more interesting.

If you are using this system to make money, how much will waiting that long cost you? The new Broadwell-E will run in the existing boards, with a BIOS update.

I don't make money out of it, so I don't know what to do
I have seen that also pascal comes in Q2 2016 is it worth to wait?

Only you can answer that.

If you do postpone, you are choosing to wait about 8 months, or more. I would not want to buy new tech on day 1. The new stuff will cost about as much and will be somewhat faster, and/or power efficient. Broadwell-E may not be worth waiting for if you really want this system and it will be an upgrade for you later if you can sell off your old CPU, which will still have relevance and value. Getting a cheap, perhaps open-box/ refurbished GPU now and replacing it in a year's time, or selling it off too, when you want or need to upgrade to Pascal is a decent idea too.

I should think wisely, because probs in 2017 there will be skylake-e ? Which will have a new mother board etc. So I would have to replace them all, but every year there will be something new. How long will this system last? Like 5 years? I can also what you said sell the older gpu and cpu and buy the newer on, but depends if anyone is going to buy it. the broadwell comes in 1-4 months right? And pascal in 4-8 months.

Forever :) Since it is primarily for other than gaming, it will continue to do its job until it wears out or you decide that it is worth it to get a new, faster, replacement, system, rather like a car. Gaming systems are like race-cars. This year's model is not so good next year. Editing systems are like a taxi-cab. Will do what it does until it is not worth it anymore.

How long will this system last?

Oh, I didn't know what you meant. But yeah it isn't always an easy decision. But every component that I have now is good right?

I think I'll just go with this system, so I have added the gtx 970 here. If anyone has more advice please tell me !
