Almost no cables with parts- $1300 Intel Gaming Rig

The only cables you need are the PSU cables, a few SATA cables (should have gotten some with the motherboard) and there should be some cables built into the case for the front ports.

The HDD, SSD and ODD (cd) need a SATA cable for data to the motherboard and a Molex for power from the PSU. Motherboard takes a 24pin ATX power cable from the PSU and an 4 or 8 pin ATX/EPS cable from the PSU. The 770 will take 2 PCIe power cables from the PSU. You will need to plug in the front header ports to the motherboard from the case and also the USB ports from the case.

You should probably read a guide before you start. Also read this thread to avoid some mistakes you might make.

The PSU should come with all the cables it needs but you'll need another sata cable. Can get one from amazon, newegg or your local computer store. They are pretty common.

You can start your build without it. Just hook up the ODD and whichever storage drive you are going to install the OS on, then when you are done, shutdown and unplug the ODD and hook up both storage drives.
