Question Alomost identical RAM - 2GB faster, than 2x2GB ?

Hi!
I have problem with my laptop RAM, I have two almost identical RAM sticks, each 2GB:

1. M471B5773CHS-CH9
2. M471B5773DH0-CH9

Each one tested in one of two slots on motherboard and:

• RAM 1 works on every slot very fast
• RAM 2 works on every slot very fast
• RAM 1 + RAM 2 works very slow ( order changed )

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Use of exact match, identical, same thing have no guarantee to be compatible together.

Once you start combining modules sold separately together, often the extra stress placed on the memory controller makes the memory unable to operate at rated specifications. Then you have to experiment with lower clock speed, relaxed timings, higher voltages to get memory to work together.
