After some advice regarding the best CPU within a budget to complement what I already have to finish a build.
Already have an overclocked GTX 960
Family member has purchased a ASUS B450 Motherboard and 16GB DDR4 RAM to go with it.
We have a limited budget for a processor but I don't want to throttle things back with core speed on processor.
I've been out the game for a long time when it comes to putting the whole thing together so am I going to kill things by buying a AMD Ryzen 5 2400G or do I need to spec up.
It's for my boys 15th birthday and he's just realising the PC experience so don't want to kill it for him by ruining his experience. I know the 960 can be improved on but that's for Santa to sort out ;-). Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
