Already installed Os

I have an old Seagate 160gig HDD that i got from another computer and i want to put it in my current system as spare storage but it already has an Os on it, will this affect my computer also i don't care if i lose all the stuff off my Seagate HDD so it dos'nt matter if it gets wiped.

You can put it in and wipe it so you have a fresh drive.

It shouldn't cause a problem with your existing system.

It shouldn't matter, but if it does give you trouble, use the boot menu to forcibly boot the correct OS, then format the new drive in My Computer.
