Alt-Tabbing takes seconds after Windows 10 update

After the latest Windows 10 update. Everytime I alt tab out of a game there is a huge delay in between with the screen freezing. I didn't have this problem till I updated.

my specs are as followed
Ryzen 5 2600 (OCed to 4.20ghz)
NVIDIA GTX 1070 ti
Corsair Vengeance 2x8 @ 3200mhz

Try disabling timeline and see if it makes any difference. They changed the alt tab function it it might be causing the lag.

Have you got latest Nvidia drivers as it might be caused by them.

Yea I've had that timeline thing off since I reset my pc a while ago. I also have the latest drivers as well. You think I should reinstall drivers again?

It appears its caused by Focus Assist

Settings > System > Focus Assist
Scroll down to the lower section of the Focus Assist configuration UI and in the Automatic rules category, toggle the switch for When I’m playing games to off. If you are duplicating the system or configured Focus Assist to kick it at a certain time, you need to turn these rules off as well.

So far so good after I turned off Focus Assist. Thanks man
