Well i was going to buy the FX-8350 and somebody here in the forum which i would like to thank , advised me to equip the FX-8350 with Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 , unfortunately , the price went too high for me to afford , so is there is another one that would handle the FX-8350 temp and if i wanted to overclock it would be fine with it ???

Solution
MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 & ASRock 990FX Extreme3 is out it doesn't support 8350.. (Asrock kinda 50:50 but I'm not taking chances)

I usually go to Gigabyte mobo (I had a bit bias in this). but the mising "U" and just "D" it means
this board is not as O.C. capable as the "UD" variant, more closer look it look bad for O.C. since no heatsink in the VRM...
edit: so this board also out...

For the MSI GD55 it looks good, but I cannot said much about it's capability & reliability...

will wait for other with more experience for fill in....

If u wanna O.C. the best bet is going with 990 chip set mobo.. they pricier but have better circuitry...

u can try get the more affordable 970 chip mobo, but the O.C. will be limited and the board don't designed to be pushed hard...

so if u cannot afford the 990 ones u can try look for the 970 ones just don't O.C. high...

The Asus M5A99X R2.0 is a little cheaper with a rebate at $115. I have used the older version with a 8350 for quite some time and it works excellent. Asus's AI suite is awesome for making OCing easier, automatically or manually.

This one is only $80 with rebate and now that it includes the TPU EPU hardware and software it is the same as the FX board except it is really only designed for one 16 PCIe GPU. 2 can be used with a minor performance hit.
The better boards are better for OCing simple because the VRM's ( voltage regulator module ) are more powerful for the CPU's. If you rally want to OC as for as possible save your pennies and get the best FX board you can afford. IF moderate 4.4 to 4.7 OC's are fine these boards are fine. I have run at 4.7 for extended times with no BSOD's, but things were getting a little hotter than I was comfortable with, 60C+. So I prefer to stay around 4.4 max with my dual fan 120mm cooler.
