After placing one RAM stick into a farther slot, as the title says the EZ debug LED for MSI H110M Gaming switches between DRAM and CPU. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I get no post as a result of this. The other slot gives no post also, but the RAM LED blinks, then the VGA LED blinks, then nothing is on but there is no post.

Please list the DIMMs you are using. Manufacturer and P/N. Run Memtest86+ from a USB stick to test your DIMMs.
Always best to list your full system specs for better analysis. CPU, PSU, GPU.

Try clearing CMOS and see if that helps.

I'm using a " Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ", although I am currently only putting in one farther from the Intel CPU. My parts are:

CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI H110M Gaming Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory
Storage: PNY CS1311 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked Video Card
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA 430W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

I've removed the optical drive, video card, and storage. I'm concerned that some of the CPU pins may be not working, but they were previously working. Additionally, is there any way to tell that the CMOS has been reset? I've put a screwdriver touching the two pins. Initially a red and blue LED in two places were shining, but currently when I try touching the two pins I see nothing.

There is a proper way to reset CMOS jumper. Page 14 of your MB manual.

There is a Bios update Version 5.4 for Improved memory compatibility. Do you have this.?
How to flash your Bios go here: https://www.msi.com/files/pdf/How_to_flash_the_BIOS.pdf

Are all your other drivers up to date.? ie: System & Chipset Drivers, Intel Serial IO Drivers, IME Driver+Microsoft hotfix, ASMedia Drivers.

If all this does not help then indeed the CPU socket will have to be inspected for bent pins.

Unfortunately using a screwdriver to reset the CMOS did not work. My BIOS had been updated previously. Additionally, I installed all drivers.
