Not sure if this is the right page/section to ask this question.
Im trying to look for alternative to madvr or if there is other media player that can provide better quality with ringing / artifacts reduction with better gpu utilization
1060 6gb w/ I7 3770 that is my system. playing media on or upscaled to 1080 only .
most video source are 720 with 3-5mb bitrate / 1080 with 5-15mb bitrate .
some are good , some are just plain bad even with all artifact removal adjustment that I did.

Yes, there's YCbCr444 color mode too. Check this out: https://pcmonitors.info/articles/correcting-hdmi-colour-on-nvidia-and-amd-gpus/

hmm makes sense..
is there a way to get a different color range than 0-255 / 16-235 in windows? NVIDIA got limited and full .. games looks OK with 16-235 but somewhat washed.. in full range they are vibrant indeed but somehow a lot of details are gone , they became too dark or too bright.
Im using a TV as a display hook via hdmi
madvr got this custom color range setting / level that looks balanced to me
