alternatives for rubbing alchohol to remove thermal paste?

hey guys , as the title says... i wanna remove thermal paste offy cpu and i don't have 75%+ rubbing alchohol (Basicly NO rubbing alchohol) would it be fine if i just clean it off with a towel or some sort of coffee filter ?

You must be having Nail Polish remover at home for sure.
Use that, it's safe
Just make sure it is Acetone based

i didn't use ANY alchohol and it worked fine , temps are 45 degrees MAX when playing rust ULTRA settings on a I7 3770 3.4ghz

Sounds nice.
But just for any future reference, when you don't have any alcohol thingy. Just go for a Acetone based Nail Polish remover.

Any department store, or pharmacy, with a first aid section should have the rubbing alcohol you need. It is cheap, so go get a bottle.
