So, high test isopropyl alcohol is still sold out in my area, apparently due to the virus. Are there any decent alternatives for removing thermal paste from a GPU? Nail polish remover? Hand sanitizer? Vodka?

Solution
High concentration (98%+) ethyl or methyl alcohol is just fine. I've been using them for years, they just need few seconds longer to evaporate but clean just same. Careful application of acetone (nail polish remover) for more stubborn or dried up gunk that passes as paste with older OEM coolers.
