Aluminium-copper corrosion issue still exists in modern closed loop liquid coolers?

I want to get a 'cooler masterliquid lite 120' liquid cooler for my amd ryzen build but the radiator is specified as an aluminium one where as pump/processor plate has copper.I read in few forums that mixed metals cause corrosion issues in long usage and brass-copper radiator was suggested.Can anybody advise me on this?

Typical corrosion problems with mixed metals occur when they are in contact with each other and an electrolyte is present that would cause galvanic reaction. Don't think too many coolers are experiencing this problem.

I think it's hype worrying about the material the radiator is made from.

You would have to take the cooler apart to see if the copper is actually in contact with the aluminum in a solution.

The coolant they use in closed loop coolers has anti-freeze and stabilizers in it. I suspect it is designed to last roughly the life of the pump before any issues become evident.

Mixed metals and poor plating are the results of most of the mixed metal stories. There was a time when the community was complaining and the manufacturers were actively avoiding trying to spend the money to replace all the damaged equipment. Basically everyone just had to move on, lessons learned. That all happened before all-in-ones really became common.

so should i go for that cooler?There must be some kind of additives in the liquid that might prevent such corrosion issues isn't it?

Cooler master is a reputable company as is Corsair, no reason not to go with that cooler if you like it.
