You would have to take the cooler apart to see if the copper is actually in contact with the aluminum in a solution.
The coolant they use in closed loop coolers has anti-freeze and stabilizers in it. I suspect it is designed to last roughly the life of the pump before any issues become evident.
Mixed metals and poor plating are the results of most of the mixed metal stories. There was a time when the community was complaining and the manufacturers were actively avoiding trying to spend the money to replace all the damaged equipment. Basically everyone just had to move on, lessons learned. That all happened before all-in-ones really became common.
