Aluminum Mouse Pad for gaming??

Solution
yeah it does matter

i find this one much better than a cheap one the mouse glides far better

and had it dont know how many years lets face it you arent going to wear out an aluminium one like a cheap one the mouse will wear out before the pad will

Sure I guess. I use a 2 dollar mouse pad for my g502. I honestly don't think it matters what mouse pad you buy. Buy what you like. I also never heard of a aluminum mouse pad.

Your mouse pad is almost more important than your mouse.
aluminum is cold... it should track fine.
logitech says the g440 is the best. that what they test it on...
hard pads track the best period, but there to fast for some people, like me.
and wear out your mouse feet.
soft pads can be faster on the X or the Y axis due to the weave.
hybrid pads don't.
so in my opinion hybrids where its at

good thing with the corsair aluminium one both sides are aluminium so you can turn it over

and both sides have a different texture one side is near enough totally smooth

the other side almost like the very finest sandpaper you can get--it doesnt wear the feet excessively but thats the only way i can think to describe it
