Here are the parts:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte - B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: Patriot - Viper 4 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Case: Cougar - MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair - CX (2017) 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

I'm mainly trying out Fortnite and am only getting low-mid FPS, around 20-40 range.

Is there anything I can do to increase the FPS? The CPU and GPU are always 100% when running the game as well...

At 1080p?

Without a dedicated gpu that looks about right

not even at 1080p, I have everything set to low and it still doesn't give a consistent 60 fps, at mid-high I get 20-40 FPS with the resolution set to 1280x720p

Here is a picture of my BIOS which includes the CPU temp and the version of BIOS as well. Windows 10 was a fresh install and not from another PC.

Maybe try fiddling with the Fortnite settings. What settings are you on currently?

I’d suggest turning off post processing, motion blur, and V-sync to help with the frame rate. What is your remderndistance and shadows set to? For best performance keep the shadows off. (I keep shadows on low since you can’t really tell the difference with them at epic or on low)

Doesn't seem like anything has changed. I've updated BIOS, Chipset Driver, Audio Driver & Lan Driver yesterday and the build still struggles to maintain at least a solid 60 fps with all low settings at 1280x720p in Fortnite lol.

I found the solution. The problem was that I was running Single Channel Mode because my RAM sticks were only using channel B (DIMM_1 & DIMM_3). So I left DIMM_1 alone and switched the RAM stick from DIMM_3 to DIMM_2 so now it's in Dual Channel mode.

I cannot believe how much of a difference this made? It's fascinating.

I'm currently getting a constant 60 fps about 90% of the time I'm playing on 1600x900 with 3D resolution set to 1280x720 and every setting on medium except shadows = off. It usually dips down to about 50-30 fps depending on the battle and if there are a lot of people/a lot of builds, etc. But these drops are super quick and doesn't make the game unplayable in any way so that's cool. I wish I could play on 1366x768 but my screen only has 1280x720 and goes up to 1280x1024 then jumps to 1440x900 :(

EDIT: Was playing around with the resolution and I can run 1600x900 with solid 60 FPS when it counts, such as build fights, heavy explosions, cqc, etc. but drops to 30-40ish when I'm landing in spots such as tilted towers and around the 50s when landing in dusty divot. But immediately goes to 60 fps upon landing. I have everything set to low excep anti aliasing which is Medium.
