Okay so I am doing a budget build. These are what the main parts consists of,
Intel G4560
ADATA XPG Z1 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 2800MHz RAM
Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H
My question is am I able to "underclock" the 2800MHz RAM down to 2400MHz as the motherboard I have listed only supports 2400, will the board be okay with the RAM being install and underclocked via either me or its self?
The reason I ask is being it is somehow cheaper to buy the 2800MHz vs the 2400Mhz Kit, the 2800MHz kit is only £50.63 vs 2400Mhz @ £75.99.
Any help is appreciated!
