I have what in my opinion is a great system, but often times in the games I play (Battlefield 4, League of Legends) I see my fps drop down to the 30's which I don't see why.
My setup is:
AMD FX-8350 OC'd to 4.8ghz (With liquid cooling)
2 EVGA GTX 680 4gbs (Sometimes OC'd, sometimes not) in SLI
16 gbs of RAM @1866mhz (Trident I think is the brand)
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard
The two games I mentioned are on my SSD. I also play Skyrim a lot, but don't notice much issues with that one.
Both games are played at max settings (With AA off, or turned down low, and shadows at medium)
So am I being bottlenecked? What's the issue here? I've tried overclocking both the CPU and GPU, but I really don't see any improvements. I know BF4 is new, but I really don't understand why my fps is dipping so hard in it AND League of Legends.
