I usually get 90+% gpu usage in rdr2 with 30-50% CPU usage (same with nba2k21), but when i go into Modern warefare, i get 40% CPU and Less than 40% GPU usage. i think it might be my ram, because i have 2400mhz, and i already bought 3200 mhz 16gb
Specs:
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU

thanks for the reply, but is anything in my system bottlenecking though? because my cpu is a bit old for the 3060 Ti
Well...the CPU is a bit underpowered.
But the term 'bottleneck' is wildly misused.

Ignoring usage percentages, which are generally reported incorrectly...is the system giving you acceptable framerate at acceptable levels of graphic eyecandy?
If so, enjoy.

Hey there,

Here's a vid comparing your CPU to a more modern 5600x with a 2080 super (the 3060ti is slightly faster than this card), so a good reference point: Ryzen 1700 vs Ryzen 5600x , in 2021 - YouTube

You can see the difference between the CPU gens. To answer your question, yes, your CPU is holding your GPU back. Typically it seems by about 30% compared to a more modern CPU.

However, you still get decent frame rates, so if it plays smoothly, then it won't matter much about a bottleneck.
