Hello, my current PC build is broken. Its either my motherboard or CPU. (MSI 970 motherboard & AMD FX 8350 CPU)

Instead of spending roughly 200-350 on a diagnosis a minimal upgrade or same parts I want to switch boards and cpu entirely as I'm done with AMD and the little amount of upgrades I can do now that Ryzen is out.

Based on my research this is what I'm looking to purchase: I will be pairing these with my GTX 1070

ASUS PRIME Z270-A $180 - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01NGTYV2Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1

I5-7600K - 260$

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB Dram 2400MHz C14 $136 - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00UVN2B8K/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1

Sandisk 1250GB SSD $69- https://www.amazon.ca/SanDisk-120GB-SDSSDA-120G-G26-Newest-Version/dp/B01F9G414U/ref=sr_1_7?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1514586938&sr=1-7

Is this build good or could I improve?
