Am I doing it right? 1440p Gaming PC Version

Hello. I'm building my first 1440p gaming pc and any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

My concerns:
I've already ordered parts, but still have option to return them and get something else.

CPU cooler: I went with H220-X because it has excellent (but fewer) reviews. I decided to stay away from newer corsair CLCs since their fans seem to be really noisy and replacing them with noctuas going to cost more than H220-X. I'm not sure whether I'm making the right decision in this regard.

Motherboard: I was also considering Asus gene VII and MSI z97m gaming 5. Decided to go with gigabyte z97mx because I could not find sufficient reasons for price primiums on these mobos. What do you think?

Video Card: I was choosing between MSI and Gigabyte non-reference 980 ti offerings. Decided to go with MSI since it appears to be quieter. Should I have considered others? What do you think of my choice?

PSU: I know that EVGA g2 is an excellent PSU. My main concern is whether 750W is sufficient to sustain stable overcloking of demanding i7-4790k and 980ti. I highly doubt I'll be adding another card for SLI since I'm too concerned about internal temperatures of my mATX.

Cooler - Bet it was expensive but that looks awesome. Fans will be pretty quiet and even includes an 8 way PWM splitter. That means you can plug 4 pin PWM fans into it (usually you only get 1 slot on the motherboard) so they will automatically slow down/speed up based on temperature. Great for quietness.

Mobo - Again, was probably more expensive than necessary but looks great.

GPU - The fans stop spinning when temperature allows, so long as you have decent airflow in your case, this will stay very quiet.

PSU - That's more than enough power, 400-450W would be fine without overclocking. With overclocking 500-550W is fine.

This PSU costs a bit more than yours but has a fanless mode under low loads, might be a good idea seeing as though you like quietness.

This PSU seems to be pretty nice, but I think I'll stick with EVGA since I got pretty good deal on it. I don't think anyone has had any noise issues with this PSU and it otherwise very well reviewed.

Awesome build dude! It's definitely going to work really well. Man, if I had the budget for it I'd be buying that 980Ti too. Alas, it would be super overkill for the 1080p build I'm going for. Are you planning to add an SSD? I can't not imagine using one anymore. Right now it's an M.2 in my MacBook Air. Very soon it'll be an M.2 in my new Skylake build!
