Am I doing something wrong, or does my LED light not work?

I recently bought an LED strip light for my computer case but I'm not sure if it's not working or if I am just plugging it into the wrong place so I hoped somebody could shed some light for me.

Does this plug actually go into a motherboard fan connector? or am I just being dumb?

I'm honestly not sure on a make or model. It is one of these

Although, despite the discription, it does not come with any form of instructions (not that you would generally need any, but still)

I have molex connectors, but that plug won't fit in it, surely? :\

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by 'six socket connector', unfortunately.
I am generally very good with computers as I am a computer technician by profession, but I am quite new to case modding

Oh I see. Nah it's not a 6 socket. It looks like a normal fan plug but a bit smaller.
