Am I experiencing a possible bottleneck?

A little while ago, I upgraded from an AMD FX-6100 to an AMD FX-8350. I later discovered that my motherboard, the Biostar TA970, only supports up to 140 watt processors. Is it possible that this motherboard is impacting my CPU performance? If so, what should I upgrade to? Thanks.

It's only 125 watts at idle temp. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2012/11/06/amd-fx-8350-review/7. It appears to go over that under load. Does this mean it's being bottlenecked? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not very fluent regarding motherboards....

your link shows 95w at normal settings & 160w at overclocked settings. that cpu list link I posted about shows that cpu on the list so it has been tested for your board.
