I bought a used dx-4860. It has gtx-660 graphics card in it. The onboard hdmi port doesnt send a signal but the dvi on the graphics card does. Is this a setting in the bios? If I reformat will I get signal from the hdmi port untill I install the driver for graphics card? Im afraid if I reformat ill lose the dvi output with no driver and if its a setting in the bios the hdmi will remain dead and ill have no way to get in the bios. Does this make sense?

No you should not lose the signal from the video card, yes it is normal for the onboard video not to work if there is a video card installed. If for some reason you don't get an image, just remove the video card and install it again once the Windows setup is done.
