Hi everyone and sorry for my newb question. I bought the Intel BOXDX79SI which it says it supports Memory Standard DDR3 2400/2133/1866/1600/1333/1066 and two G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH. It says Quad channel kit for Intel X79 LGA 2011, XMP ready. But its 1.65v My question is Intel says only use 1.5v ram http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/dx79si/sb/CS-032852.htm Am I reading it wrong or can I use this ram without voiding my warranty. I past the 30 day refund period cause I'm buying pieces at a time (don't have the money to buy all at once) so I'm stuck with it. Just a little confused. Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks for the reply dj. Once I get my processor I will try it at 1.5v and just memtest it. I just don't like how these company sells you stuff saying it compatible or made for Intel X79 and you're not suppose to use it at that setting.
