am I making a mistake?

So I just bought an r9 290x gigabyte oc 1040 mz edition and everyone has been telling me I wasted my money because the 390x and its literally keeping me up at night thinking that I wasted my money I bought the card for a good price of 484 with no tax's or shipping but 484 $ is allot of freaking money to me... So should I return it and wait or stick it out with what I got like it's driving me crazy just at the thought of spending that much money..... So iam asking you guys of tomshardware did I make the right or wrong choice so I can sleep with some freaking piece of mind!!

If you got a good deal, dont worry about it. No one knows when the 390x will be out.

You did not waste your money, it is a good card. If it performs the way you want it to, and is quiet enough for you, then keep it. If you don't like the card (Too loud for example), then just return it.

I was gonna say that the Gigabyte 290 (not 290x) is a much better deal. But I don't want to hurt your feelings. So I wont.

If you're happy with the performance I wouldn't worry about it because like stated above no one know when the 390X will be available. It could be quite awhile yet.

The 390x will probably be 10% better but cost 20% more anyway.
