Am I putting my SSD in the right place?

I have both of my harddrive slots being used by regular HD's. There's this spot on top of them where it seems my ssd fits. But I feel like I'm missing something, can it go here? Would it over-heat since there's not a lot of open space under it? What am I missing? https://i.imgur.com/iXnY7IT.jpg

It's fine. Sata SSDs generate very little heat.

You can just leave the SSD hanging anywhere, it won't do anything bad to it since it has no mechanical parts inside. If you really want to fit it there the heat from the harddrivers won't damage it since they produce very little heat.
