Did you get your confirmation e-mail from Tom''s when you joined up, and have you ticked to select e-mail notifications of new posts?

As a backup, you cold click on he envelope above the "Add a Reply" box to make sure this particular thread carries a notification.

Thanks. I did get the conf. email and hit button for notification. I see people are reading my post, but no one is responding to it. I've erased and reposted it to different categories after waiting a few days under each, but still no responses, which seems unusual, so thought I'd better check.

It seems odd but people shouldn't post if they don''t have a specific point to make. Post a link to your thread and it might find some support here. I'll take a look but it may well be outside my own limitations.
