I just bought ADATA 16GB Kit (2x8G) DDR3 2400 1.65v - AX3U2400W8G11, and wondering if it's at 2400mhz once installed or have to go in the BIOS to do so. If have to, how do I and is it recommended?
Yes it has to be setup to run, what mobo? If Intel it will run off XMP, if an AMD mobo, it may use XMP, DOCP, EOCP......, also what CPU? Some (well most) require an OC on the CPU to run sticks at 2400

Go to BIOS, check if it is at that speed, if not enable XMP and you should be able to set it to 2400Mhz.

I'm running an Intel i7 4790K CPU, Asrock Z97X Killer Fatal1ty Motherboard. I'm in BIOS and can see a XMP setting called XMP 1.3 profile 1 DDR3-2400 11-13-13-35 1.65v
Am I voiding warranty or putting too much stress on the RAM putting it to this setting?
