Am i running my RAM to its fullest?

Hello,

I just upgrade to G.Skill Trident Z 2x8 sticks and went into bios and set xmp profile and i did see it said that my memory is running ay 3003 MHz however in my task manager it says my ram is only running at 2133. So which one is it? 3000 or 2133?

windows has a habit of reading it wrong same as it shows overclocked cpus as being at default speed

use cpuz look in the memory tab--not the spd tab

yes its ddr so gets doubled

so just over 3000mhz
