Am I safe with heatsink fan clip touching back plate of my GPU?

Hey guys, just got a new cpu heatsink, the Noctua nh-d15s. My motherboard is compatible with the cooler.. I have a saphire r9 fury tri-x gpu. So the fan clip (the little metal clip) that attaches the fan to the heatsink is touching the backplate to my r9 fury gpu.

Will that fan clip cause any issues for my GPU? I don't want to move the gpu to another slot because its the only pci 3 slot on my matx motherboard.

Solution
As long as its not pushing on the card it shouldnt be an issue, I would take action if anything conductive was touching, though it technically should be fine.

Here's some pictures. Are these clear enough?

Yep, this cooler is a massive beast, huge upgrade from stock cooler.

So I just checked again, and the fan clip does not touch the backplate. It's actually the rubber sound dampening on the side of the fan that is touching the screw that connect the backplate and the gpu. Does that change anything?

Yeah it doesn't appear to be pushing. I'm a little annoyed that the screw is too long and is not screwed in the whole way. The two components would not be touching at all if that screw was fastened in the whole way.

Thanks for all your quick answers.
