Am trying to solve the, steam user stats not available error. please help

I am trying to install a game, fm 2010 but I keep on getting this error:

The procedure entry point SteamUserStats could not be located in the dynamic link library steam_api.dll

I have followed all instructions as per other users errors but I still keep on getting the error, what's could be the problem?

Sounds more like a Steam issue than Win7.
Have you checked the Steam forums for other things to try?

Ok I solved the steam issue, then I installed vstdlib_s.dll

Its now saying that the procedure entry point Q_copyandfixslashes is not located in the dynamic link vstdlib_s

Please help.
