My system
The old motherboard I'm replacing
The planned replacement board

My old motherboard is being replaced as it was seemingly overheating near the SATA ports (apparently a common problem with this board) and preventing hard drives from being recognised.

I've selected this replacement board because I can buy it new, without need to worry about refurbs, and it seems to offer everything I need in a replacement, even opportunities for if I wish to upgrade the system at any point or if I want to use it in another system.
On top of this, it's a fairly cheap board and since I intend to get an entirely new system within the next few months, it'll be nice to have things fixed without spending too much.

I believe I have checked that everything is compatible (CPU, RAM, connectors) but thought it would be worth getting a second opinion.

So, my question is, given that I am using all my original hardware (apart from the graphics card, for which I will use the on-board graphics), will this replacement be compatible and should it work without a hitch?
