hi i am building a mid range gaming pc i want to play cod advanced warfare and battlefield hardline i got giving a asus m5a97 evo 2.0 motherboard just need advice what cpu i should use as i want the cpu to last a long time

AMD FX-8370 would be a great choice

Make sure you get a heatsink for it.
AMD's stock heatsinks sound like a chainsaw.
